Final Outcome - Window of Wales

This is my final out come for my memories project about my summer in Wales;

I started by adding White fabric to the inside of my window.

I then added sand to the window and sculpted a lobster out of the sand, because most days I would be on the beach and i would make sand sculptures, I love the feel of sand.

I then put my 3D sculpture into the middle of my window, held in place by the sand.

To add my painting to the front glass of the window I had to attach string to keep it in place so it wouldn't fall down and that it was secured.
This is my window from the outside view, I was pleased with the way it looked and the way it all fitted together like I planed.

When you look threw the middle bigger hole you can see the sand and the 3D sculpture, and as you look around you can see more pieces of artwork.

I like my idea because it gets the audience to get up close to the artwork and inspect it more rather than just walk past it. So when the audience are looking they can spot more details and see more.

This is where the sculpture fits into the sand almost making it seem as tough it is coming up threw the sand.

This is a Scarf I got when I was in Wales, to me it was interesting because of the pattern and that's why I got it.
Most days in Wales I would have one of these coffees from a little corner shop near our camp-site. Because most days we would get up really early and I would be very tired from the activities from the day before. Plus I love coffee.
This is a bracelet my friend gave to me in Wales, we meet her every year on the same camp-site. She made this bracelet for me and I love the lime green colour.
This is a little flower box I found in a small shop in Wales; it was very pretty and I liked the pattern it has on it.

These are some shells I picked up on the beach in Wales; I love the shape of the shells and the unusual colours.

This is called a mermaids purse, witch is actually where a sharks egg would lay in, and when the tiny shark is born the purse gets washed up onto the beach, but I did of course wash it before taking it home, I just thought it was incredible to have one and to see one because you don't see lots normally anywhere that's not near a beach.

photo collages of Wales.

Experiments of flowers and textures.

I first got a piece of card and painted ink onto the card then I let the ink dry, once it was dry I cut out some photos I had taken and placed them onto the card.
I did the exact same thing with this one; only I filled in the rest of the photo with fine liner drawings, it created a cool effect and looks really pretty.
